Description:
    Alexandrovsky Historical-Literary Museum "A.P.Chekov and Sakhalin" - is the memorial complex, which consists of the 6 historical buildings. There are 2 expositions in our museum - historical and liteary. The "Chekhov and Sakhalin" exposition tells and shows us the history of Chekhov's journey to Sakhalin and writing his book about the prisoners. The historical exposition tells and shows us the history of Sakhalin from ancient times to present days. There are many photos, documents and subjects, which show the history of developing of Sakhalin.
