Description:

The historical hall of the museum is devoted to the life and activity of the town. It contains documents, photos, books about Babuskin I.V.; pictures, household articles, books of XIX-XX th centuries. The hall of regional studies offers displays on lake Baikal, on the store of which the town is; it tells about the origin of the lake, changes of climate, ecological problems, fossil and modern animal and plant life, its minerals.
