Description:
    The National Museum of the Udmurt Republic named after Kuzebai Gerd is the large research, cultural institution and methodical center of the Udmurt Republic destined to treasure the monuments of material and intellectual culture of peoples living in the region.

    Exposition represents the complex of exhibitions which are illustrative of nature and history of the land - ancestral home of the Finno-Ugric peoples.

    Ethnic history of Udmurts, Russians, Maries, Tatars, living in the region is represented in the reach collections of national costumes, utensils and other museum pieces, which introduce to the life, customs, traditions and religion of the peoples.

    The Udmurt Republic particularly Izhevsk are world famous for the manufacture of the military, sports and hunting weapons. Expositions of the history of Izhevsk arms and military history of the land are the subject of unfailing interest of the Russian and foreign tourists all over the world
