Description:

Literary museum is a branch of Belgorod state museum of local history, was opened on April 26th, 1999. It is situated in merchant Selivanov`s house built in the XIX century. The museum exposition reflects literary process and cultural life in Belgorodchina, tells about outstanding people: actor M.S. Shepkin, philosopher N.N. Strahov, writer-pushkinist A.I. Gessen, inventor and cinematographer N.D. Anoshenko and others, many modern writers and poets, whose Motherland is Belgorod region
