Description:

Field of activity: naive art (primitive) and national crafts of Russia.

The Municiple museum of naive art was organized in 1998 by the order of the Moscow Government as Municipal non-commercial culture institution. It is the first state museum in Russia devoted to collect, preserve and popularize the Russian native art.

From the first spet of its activity Museum recieved the Russian President's Grant to form the oall Russian exhibition "Pushkin images created by naive artists of Russia" which was shown in 9 cities and towns of the country and in the Cannes, France. Issued the catalogue.

Next museum project - "And I saw the new sky" - is devoted to the 3rd millenium. The exhibition is formed and catalogues. Films are prepared for printing. Museum took part (thrice) at the Moscow festivale "Intermuseum" and twice at the "INSITA" in Bratislava, Slovakia.
