The Museum is dedicated to the life and work of an outstanding Soviet artist Porphyriy Nikitich Krylov, Hero of Socialist Labour, the full member of Academy of Arts of the USSR, people's artist of the USSR, laureate of the Lenin and State prizes of the USSR, Laureate of the Lenin and State prizes of the USSR, honorary citizen of Tula, one of the famous artists-cartoonists "Kukryniks's". But here you will not see cartoons and caricatures-here you'll find the soul of the artist, his bright and poetic vision of the world, the ability to find beauty sometimes even the most ordinary things. You will be charmed landscapes of Russian nature and exotic distant lands, of wonderful children's portraits, floral still-lifes with their unique and enduring beauty .
