Description:

Tikhvin museum was opened in 1913 In 1917 the museum was nationalized and became a state. In 1941, during the occupation by German troops in Tikhvin, the museum's collection is completely dead. Revival of the museum took place in 1966. Today, the museum is open in the grounds of the monastery
