Description:

The museum was open in 1994. For today it is a cultural (and general educational) city centre. 4 halls: 2 - ethnography, 1 - exhibition hall, 1 - nature of edge. On the base of museum gives the history and geography Khanty-Mansiysk region's lessons, lectures and class hours. The special interest is shown for the visitors a hall of nature of edge, where are placed 40 taxidermist exhibits of the local wizard Lvov S.N.

With assistance of a museum 2 collections of verses of the local poets are released.

Monthly in an exhibition hall pass mobile exhibitions of the wizard decorate art and the artists of a district.
