Lytkarino Museum of local History is situated near Moscow, in a former estate of noble family Zotov-Chernyshev. The museum collection includes over 30000 items. The museum collects and organizes information about N.M.Zotov, A.I. Chernyshev outstanding historical figures - the owners of the estate "Lytkarino".

    Local history archive brings together materials on Lytkarino and surrounding areas of Moscow region. The museum library consists of books on history, art, architecture, noble life, handicrafts, museum studies. The department of Planetarium is the part of museum, it's working for public. In the museum you can get information on local history topics, estate culture, space and astronomy, also you can find materials for presentations, essays, projects and researches. Currently restoration works are conducted in the main house of manor Lytkarino. Showroom for public is available in the servants' quarters. In 2012 museum park and a monument to Alexander Ivanovich Chernyshev - hero of Patriotic war of 1812 - are openning for visitors
