Museum of Human Anatomy Department of KSMU is located in a unique building of Anatomical Theatre. Human Anatomy Department is one of first 6 Departments in Kazan Imperial University (1804). From it`s establishment Department was filled with different collections: teratological (1806), preparations from Holland made by Ryuisch (1837), preparations from France made by Tamond (XIX), mummies (XIX), unique craniological collection (XIX), collection of skeletons (XIX) etc. Museum was established in 1905 and since then it is being continuously enlarging. Nowadays museum`s exhibition "About human in details. View through centuaries." is renewed by financial support of Dmitry Zimin`s Fond "Dynasty" and includes 6 sections: "Life after death", "How am I made", "From conception till birth", "How do I differ from animals", "Is Darwin right?", "Human of 21st centaury". Museum has preparations, which are made by different methods, beginning from mummies of XVI centaury and ending with latest mehods of polymer embalming
