In 1987 to the 100 anniversary of Unechi it has been decided to open in a city museum of local lore. The building of the former bank constructed still in 1930 In 1989 a museum has been for this purpose converted and repaired became branch of Bryansk regional museum of local lore. In the first year of work in it one hall - "the Pre-October period" functioned. Then two more halls have been opened: a modern history and the nature, and also the extension in which the showroom has taken place is made. For today the museum became one of the centers of cultural life of a city. At it the club for teenagers of "Radimichi" and club of fans of an author's song "Solar" works. Employees of a museum actively work in the field of museum pedagogics, spending game, dramatized, etc. kinds of interactive classes
