Description:
    "Angarskaya derevnya" - Bratsk outdoor Museum of Architecture and Ethnography was founded in 1979. It locates at the distance of 12 km from the center of the city in the green area and consists of 2 sections: the Evenks sector and Russian village.

    Evenks - one of the aboriginal nations of Siberia. In the Evenks sector different types of dwellings, storehouses, sacred places, household articles are displayed.

    In the Russian sector there are 23 restored original and unique monuments of wooden architecture: 4 farmsteads of Siberian peasants, forge, Bratsk Stockage Tower (1654), Michael Archangel Church (1875).

    The collection of Russian section of the museum contains the relics of the end of the 19 th century and the beginning of the 20 th century.

    The museum is popular with people lived in Bratsk, and newcomers not only with its unique monuments to the past, but also with untouched Siberian taiga
