Russian national museum of Music is a unique repository of musical heritage having no analog in the world, a scientific, research and educational institution. The Museum collects, preserves, restores and studies musical masterpieces. In early 1995 under the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation the Museum was registered among especially valuable objects of the cultural heritage of the peoples of the Russian Federation.
