The Association of Private Museums of Russia was founded in 2018. The aim and purpose of the Association is to bring private museum owners together in order to unlock new prospects for fruitful cooperation and accumulate information about the unique and educational collections found in private museums on the vast territory of the Russian Federation and dedicated to history, culture, and art. The Association’s official website contains information about the most interesting private museums located in different regions of Russia as well as its capital city of Moscow. In addition, every private museum owner can complete the registration form and join the Association
