The official site of the State Tretyakov Gallery is well designed and has easily accessible information about the collection and exhibitions, including those in the other branches of the gallery: the modern collection at Krimskii Val, the on site Church, the house museums of Vasnetsov and Larionov/Goncharova. The site is very useful for potential visitors and also for researchers, containing as it does very detailed texts about the history of the collection and an on-line database of masterpieces, each with a reproduction and description.
