Description:
    Тhe ethnographic museum in the open air in Kozmodemyansk is the museum of national type. Yt is the main depository of relics of architecture, obyects of life, labour and culture, used by prerevolutionary and prewar peasatry. The main directions of museum activities are research, acguisition and restoration of ancient obyects, propagandizing of history, and culture of Mari, establishment of business contact with tourist excursion organizations, cooperation with museums of Russia and Foreign countries.
