Museum dedicated to the history of emergence and development of folk artistic crafts of the Moscow region is located in the с.Федоскино, where in 1795, was founded the production of lacquer products with miniature painting in a realistic manner. This place is called "the Motherland of Russian lacquer miniatures", because in the post-revolutionary period, the manufacturing technology of lacquer items was taken from "Fedoskino", which became subsequently no less well-known centers of lacquer miniature painting on papier-mache "Palekh", "Mstera" and "Holuy".

    Established by the decree of the government of Moscow region on April 23, 2003. The exposition of the Museum includes, along with the works of such world-famous fisheries as "Gzhel", "Dulevo", "Verbilki", "Bogorodskoye", "Pavlovoposadskaya manufactory", " Sergievoposadskaya toy", "Zhostovo, the most complete collection lacquer miniature of "Fedoskino". The collection is exhibited in the building built in the late 19th century Nikolai Aleksandrovich Lukutin, the last of the dynasty of Moscow merchants, of hereditary honorary citizen of Moscow and public figures, more than 100 years of owning the factory. The Museum possesses a unique collection of memorial objects, photos and documents.
