Description:

Picture Gallery, named by D.A. Trubnikov was opened in1989 in an old mansion belonging to the daughter of a manufacturer G.K. Gorbunov, G.Alexandra Loseva, and her family. Merchant's mansion is a monument ofwooden architecture of the 2nd halfof the 19th century. It has a large park near(Summer Garden) with shady linden alleys and apicturesque pond. Picture gallery has the name of Russian artist Dmitry Alekseyevich Trubnikov (1885-1947). Two permanent exhibitions are devoted to him: Memorial hall and paintings hall.

Gallery organizes excursionsthrough the halls and excursions by carto historical sights of Furmanov and Furmanovsky District. Art Gallery is the centerof spiritual culture of the city. There are concerts, competitions and charity events in it
