Description:

The museum was founded in 1975. It tell the story of Ust-Kalmansky District and its people. It contains 3500 objects which are exhibited in 5 halls. The halls demonstrates what Ust-Kalmanka was like 200 or even more years ago. Almost every kind of object that illustrates society and culture in the past and present is represented costume and textiles, machinery, photographs, ceramics, furniture, musical instruments. The special hall is devoted to flora and fauna of Ust-Kalmansky District
