Description:

The museum is the only specialized museum of calculating techniques history in Russia. In his exposition are presented: collection of old Russian counting device - "schoty"; arithmometers, including semiautomatic and automatic; slide-rulers and logarithmic circles, including the exhibit of XIX century; specialized counting rulers and devices; punched cards and punched tapes, and devices to work with them; magnetic tapes, magnetic disks; desktop and portable calculators (more 50 kinds); computers non-compatible with IBM: Agat, Yamaha, Iskra, Robotron and etc.; computing tables; pictures of counting devices and arrangements of XVIII-XIX centuries; elements of electronic computers of I-III generations and computers' photographs; old Japanese abakus - Soroban and other exhibits
