Description:

It is located in a building of the Fire transport constructed in 1874 at the first part of Simbirsk police department. The museum exposition acquaints with history of fire prevention of Simbirsk-Ulyanovsk, its modern level of development, makes clear questions of fire safety. The works of the People`s Artist of the RSFSR V.A.Safronov are presented in the museum: portraits of veterans of fire prevention, pictures "Fighting expansion", "From fire". There are dioramas "The fire of 1864", "The room before and after a fire", mockups, collection models of fire-engines, modern equipment of firemen, a fire-engine vehicle on the chassis Gas-AA of 1938 year release among exhibits
