Description:

The main Botanical Garden of the Russian Academy of Sciences, among the biggest in Europe, was founded on 14th of April 1945 and occupies 331.4 hectares of one of the most picturesque parts of the capital, Ostankino park. Over 200 thousand people visit the garden every year. The unique collection of plants, the beautiful scenery, and fresh air make the garden a popular destination. Visitors to the Botanical Garden, which has over 16 000 types of plants from all over the world, can learn all about the world of plants, including their many useful and unusual properties
