Description:
    Murmansk Museum of Regional Studies was founded in 1926. The building of the Museum is the historical memorial of Murmansk situated in the centre of the town. The Museum is practicing in following activities: make up preserve, study, popularize the memorials of nature, history and culture of Murmansk region. There are two exhibition halls, conference hall for 100 seats, specialised library with 18 thousand books.

    There are geological, botanical, zoological, ethnographical, numismatical collections in the Museum, as well as manuscripts and old printed books, old Russian painting, rare photographies and documents.
